Sr. Publicist – DaLeyna Adkinson

 Having worked with some of the most recognizable companies in sports and entertainment, DaLeyna Adkinson, brings over 5 years of public relations and marketing experience to the Stilettos and Sounds team.

A graduate of Bowie State University with a degree in Public Relations, DaLeyna’s professional experiences have lead her from New York to Los Angeles and back chasing her passion for all things entertainment. Prior to joining Stilettos and Sounds, DaLeyna worked with the Entertainer’s Basketball Classic, where she played a critical role in developing the company’s first ever media and press kits which lead to obtaining many new company sponsors including 2KSports.

 In addition, DaLeyna has worked with R4 Media, a leading marketing firm out of Los Angeles where she executed a variety of marketing strategies covering all the areas of upscale event production. From the Turks and Caicos International Film Festival to the BET Hip Hop Awards, DaLeyna has worked to ensure she has become synonymous with all things marketing, entertainment, and lifestyle brand related.   

Over the years, DaLeyna’s client experiences include working with Rucker Park, CBS/Paramount, Shenotes Entertainment, BMI’s Celebrity Spades Tournament, the BET Hip Hop Awards, the Turks and Caicos International Film Festival, and many others.

 Jr. Publicist /Make Up Artist/Image Consultant- Jessica Marti

Jessica Marti is a Makeup Artist, Writer and Reporting agent of Fashion, Beauty and Retail Industries. For a while her dedication solely lied in providing key fashion trends to a dedicated readership. With an insatiable appetite for success, she has been working vigorously to create a name for herself in the world of fashion and media. Her creativity, keen eye, and passion for fashion are what sets her apart from the rest.   Jessica’s determination and hardworking skills along with her dedication and personable qualities have helped her establish strong media contacts in the enterainment circuit. Her career as a makeup artist is the foundation of her continued success.

As a writer, Jessica has enhanced her knowledge of the entertainment and media industry. She has conducted interviews on Model/Actress BobbiJo, Ryan Leslie, DJ Laz and Supermodel Miguel Perdomo just to name a few.  Jessica has also provided coverage for exclusive red carpet events.  

 As a publicist Jessica represents super Producers, Prince and Machavelli who work with Jim Jones, Mary J Blige and Grammy-Nominated, singer/songwriter Lil Eddie.  Previous work from this duo include: Lloyd Banks, Fantasia, Keyshia Cole, Joell Ortiz and the list goes on. She also had on her roster the amazing artist, Brian Kirhagis, known as BrikArt who was inaugurated into the Contemporary Art Museum in Russia.

  Jr. Publicist – Angela Barrett

Angela M. Barrett is a young woman full of gumption and resilience. Some call her an overachiever and the fearful call her excessively ambitious, she on the other hand refers to herself as determined and ready for success. She graduated from Kean University with a Bachelors of Arts in Media & Film laying the groundwork her goals and aspirations. She has experience in Marketing, Public Relations, Television, Radio, and Entertainment Journalism. She currently does freelance work and has completed a multitude of internships and is ready to take the world by storm.

 When she’s not enhancing her career, she loves to bask in the company of her church family and best friends. She tries to remember to always put God first. She prides herself on being a Vegetarian and sporting natural chemical-free tresses. She is a social network junkie and will probably update all of her status’ within the next five minutes. She has been described as, “witty, professional, well-versed, and self-righteous”.
