Pop is Dead; Art is an Orphan Event

Pop is Dead, Art is An Orphan

Link: Pop recap

If you weren’t there September 16th you missed the best fashion & live art exhibition during Fashion week this year. This has been one of the most unique events I have attended.

Service was directed by: DeMarko GianCarlo

Event Producer: Maurice Aguilar

I was still amazed at the actual event even though I was there during pre-production and had the inside scoop of what was taking place. As you approached the venue there were mourners outside weeping and crying…he’s dead he’s dead! In the background the melodic tunes of Gotham Citi rang out. Actress Tina Lee Jones performance was phenomenal!

 The Mourners

As you entered the venue you were greeted by the lovely Nuvo beauties and surrounded by art in several forms. Scenes were acted out by several talented models & actors portraying Michael Jackson, Marilyn Monroe, and more influential characters of the pop culture.
