About 5ive Mics
5ive Mics, the latest rap artist to hail from Brooklyn has exploded on the scene with a powerful and unique rhyme style. Though only 21 years old, 5ive has struggled while on his rise to the top. At age 15, tragedy stuck when 5ive lost his mother, Carmen. He vowed to make something of himself and become a positive role model for young people growing up in similar situations. In addition, as a Top 10 guard at Brooklyn’s Abraham Lincoln, H.S., 5ive secured an athletic scholarship to attend Big East – Syracuse University. When family issues prevented him from realizing his dream of playing basketball, as a man driven to succeed, 5ive has steadily used adversity to strengthen and motivate him. Currently, 5ive is guest appearing on mixtape projects, as well as, working on the completion of his highly anticipated debut album –“Carmen,” which is in loving memory of his mother. Just watch as this rising young star proves that triumph always overcomes tragedy!
